The second volume of our "materials" texture-CD-line contains an extensive collection of natural wood textures. They are completely made of real photos tailored to the needs of the 3D production. You will find seamless textures and also Bump-Maps on the CD. The textures mirrors a realism you can only find in the real nature. Many of the woods are stressed and aged at different levels. Scratches and cracks, bleached or flaked colors, dirty or mossy edges makes your work varied, unique and credible.
We have deliberately made not all textures tileable both in horizontal and vertical direction, because of the risk of geting lost the interesting structures. Therefore you will find textures on the CD that are tileable in one direction (horizontal or vertical), in two directions (horizontal and vertical) and textures you use as a single picture. Some of the textures are available both in a tileable and in a non-tileable version.
